Founded in 2021, Eddy Cinema is dedicated to developing fictional short and feature films. Our mission is to give independent filmmakers the platform to express their personal vision in a media landscape that’s often oversaturated. We value authenticity and honesty as essential elements of meaningful filmmaking.
We are particularly drawn to films that explore human behavior and offer thoughtful reflections on society—whether it’s looking at the past or examining the present. Our goal is always high-quality cinematography that is tailored to the story and subject matter.
Eddy Cinema’s development slate grew out of collaborations with Eddy Animation and Eddy Film, both of which have supported emerging talent, many of whom are making their first short films.

September 3, 1914. German troops invade France. At dawn, Albéric Magnard, a famous french music composer, helps his wife and daughters to escape, escorted by his faithful friend, the musician Ropartz.
Magnard will not leave his manor. A long wait begins, filled with reminiscences. When the Germans mortally wound him and set fire to his manor, the characters of his opera Guercoeur come to life, like many memories blending with reality.
A film written by René Ballesteros.
